The System 2 is housed in a Vero KM6 Card Frame, this has 'formed' End Plates with fixed positions for the Tie Bars which are held in position by detents in the End Plates.
The Card Frame is 3U high, 84HP wide and 180mm deep (1U = 1¾" or 44.45mm, 1HP = 5.08mm).
The left hand position is to take the PSU module (14HP wide), alternatively a blanking plate can be fitted, the rest of the Card Frame can hold up to 14 5HP wide panels.
The System 2 Card Frame is detailed in the System 2 Technical Manual.
